SPRING/SUMMER BEHIND THE WHEEL (BTW) DRIVER EDUCATION
JWP Community Education is offering Behind the Wheel Driver Education during the months of March (Saturdays), April (Saturdays), June, July & August, 2025. By law students are required to successfully complete 6 hours (over 2 days) of BTW training with a qualified instructor in order to take Minnesota’s driving road test. Students will receive a Driver Education "White Card" (certificate of course completion) that shows that they have successfully completed BTW Driver Education training.

Important BTW Information:

Students are required to have successfully completed the 30 hour classroom portion of Driver Education.
Students are required to have a State of Minnesota Driving Permit.
Students are required to have logged 20 hours of driving with an adult BEFORE taking Behind the Wheel Instruction.
Students are required to successfully complete 6 hours of BTW instruction.
Students are required to have their permit for six months and be 16 years of age before they are eligible to take the road test for their driver's license.

Behind the Wheel Dates & Times:
6 Hours BTW Instruction Required (3 Hours per Day for 2 Days)
Dates Available: in March (Saturdays), April (Saturdays), June, July & August, 2025
Times Available: 8:00am-11:00am, 11:00am-2:00pm, or 2:00pm-5:00pm

Students must complete the Behind the Wheel Google form after they register to choose the dates & times they want to drive. The link to this Google form can be found on the Driver Education registration page.
